Blogging Break + Disaster Survey

This year I’m not doing the A to Z Challenge, which means I'm taking a blogging break for the month of April. BUT...I’m not completely out of the Challenge. As an administer for the IWSG I am contributing to our A to Z theme of Writing Resources.

My Days on the IWSG Site will be:
C
K
S

I’m also pitching in with the other blog I co-host (Unicorn Bell) that is also joining the Challenge this year. My theme for my 3 posts will be Unusual Words that you don’t often come across.

My Days on Unicorn Bell will be:
H
P
X

On a Good Note: I am feeling secure about the release for Seismic Crimes because of all the support I received. I think I have the release marketing plan down. I'll share the outcome for all of this later.

I hope everyone participating in A to Z has a blast!

Timothy S. Brannan and his colleagues at Benedictine University are conducting a survey. Check it out:

Psychological Impact of Disasters Outbreaks and Terrorism Research Project

The purpose of this study is to examine the potential impact of natural disasters, terrorism events, and infectious disease outbreaks on communities. This survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes of your time. Your contributions will potentially educate researchers and practitioners on the psychological impact of traumatic events.

This research project has been approved by the Institutional Research Board of Benedictine University. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the principal investigator on this project or the IRB chairperson at Benedictine University. Please take a moment to participate, but only complete the survey one time.

We sincerely appreciate your time and efforts in participating. Thank you!

I post also at the IWSG site and the A to Z Blog, so I'm real thankful for A to Z Lite this year.

  9. It's always good to have a blogging break once and a while. Should I make it through A to Z, I'll probably take one in May.

Glad to hear you have your release marketing plan down!

  22. I've definitely missed you this time around, and it's weird not to see you on the blogs, but it was a great month to take a break.

I don't know if I'll do the A to Z again. There's lots that's good about it, but the three-four hours of extra work per night is getting to me.

    1. Aw. It's nice to know I'm missed. :)

Keeping up with the visiting and commenting is tough. That's the part that is draining. Next year I plan to participate because I have a theme already picked out, but after that I'm not sure. I may only do the Challenge every other year, and when I do it I'll take May off to regroup.
