What Would You Do...? (Part 2)

Every once in a while I’m doing something a little different. This is a "What Would You Do?" feature. I’m asking a question related to one of my books and I might do something with your answers. :)

You can give me realistic answers or silly answers.

To answer the first question click: What Would You Do...? (Part 1)

The second question relates to Ghost of Death.

Blurb:

Jolie Montgomery, a twenty-one-year-old woman, wakes up in an alley next to her corpse. She has no memories of her murder or the night she died. She didn’t even see the killer’s face before he or she took her life. Wanting justice, Jolie seeks answers in the only way a ghost can...by stalking the lead detective on the case.

Avrianna Heavenborn is determined to find the person responsible for a young woman’s death. She gets closer to the killer’s identity with every clue she uncovers, and Jolie is with her every step of the way.

But if they don’t solve her murder soon, Jolie will be an earth-bound spirit forever.

QUESTION: Imagine waking up next to your corpse, like Jolie in Ghost of Death, and finding out you’re a ghost. What would you do?

A few more questions to help you:
-       Is there a person or place you’d visit?
-       Any unfinished business you’d try to take care of?
-       Would you look into your death?

Leave your answer and invite others to leave their answer. :)

  1. Would I look into my death? Nah, no one cares to take me out. Any unfinished business? Nah, can't think of anything...unless you count going to Key West. :-) A person or place to visit...If I haven't done it by then, I would make sure Mr Wonderful went to the southernmost point of Key West and we watch for the elusive green flash together. :-)

  4. I think I would be curious like your character and try to figure out how I got that way, especially if I couldn't remember any details for the time before my death.

  5. I'd have some fun and see what I could do. Maybe float through some walls and find out all the government secrets haha

  6. While investigating my own death would likely be something I'd do. I'd also make the most of the situation and use my astral form and make sure I catch any awesome music concerts coming to town. Who's going to stop me? Also, never pay to see a movie again.

    1. I love that. I've never even been to a concert so I'd want to see 30 Seconds to Mars, Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons...

  7. hmmmm-I'd visit my hubby and let him know I am there by irritating him. For example, I would place the dishcloth on the sink handle, leaves books laying around, tickle his feet, place all my shoes at the entrance so he has no place for himself and take up the closet with my clothes. I would then fly off to some people who were not the nicest to me and I might trip them or make a gust of wind come up and mess up their hair. I might rip the plastic bag that holds their groceries:) I would visit the people I love, including my hubby, and let them know I am aok and then hightail it to Europe and enjoy the sights and museums

  8. I'd probably freak out first. Then I'd start investigating, trying to find out how I died.

And of course I would visit my loved ones and let them know I still cared, hopefully in a way that wouldn't freak them out too much. My sceptic boyfriend would definitely get a visit!

  9. If I found out I was a ghost, I'd be tempted to go haunt some people. I know a few who deserve to be scared. lol

  10. First thing I would do is freak out. Like big time. Then I'd start figuring out what I can do as a ghost and maybe go scare the crap out of an xbf because why not? XD

  11. I'd be heartbroken by the separation from my loved ones and all the more determined to catch whomever caused it. After a healthy dose of unholy haunting; whereby the perp would be driven to stark raving madness and turn him or her self in, I would then leave tiny crystal angel wings for each person I had to leave behind on my way to the nearest ghost convention. Otherwise, beside myself I'd forever grieve. ;-)

  12. First of all, I'd freak out, not believing I was a ghost. When I discovered I could walk through walls, and no one could see me, then I'd be angry because I was too young to die, and I'd go in search of who had killed me. Was it a friend, stranger? And I'd haunt him/her.

  13. I don't believe in ghosts. They scare me. LOL
Such an interesting question, but one I don't even want to consider. I'm at the beach and it's heavenly! :)

  14. I'd freak out, first. I think once sense set in, I'd try to find a way to contact someone. I don't know if that's possible, but it seems to be the way those things go in the sci fi shows I watch, although they're usually not dead. They've usually been phased into a different reality or just out of sync with ours and can be brought back.

    1. Freaking out is the consensus first reaction. lol Contacting someone does seem possible in entertainment.

    1. With my new Spirit Eyes and Vision, I'd try to connect with others who were also Earthbound, hoping I was smart and skilled enough to stay out of the way of the really BAD ones. Then between checking in with my loved ones, and my dog because dogs can SEE us you know, start looking for friends and other passed relatives.

    2. Meeting other earth-bound spirits would be interesting! I'd want to see my cats. :)

  17. What a fun question. I'm sure I would totally freak out first but then I would want to go visit my loved ones who have died before me. I hope I would be able to find them, especially my dad. I'd also want to meet my grandfather who died before I was born.
