BLOG TOUR:
**************************************************
I had the pleasure of interviewing Jophiel aka Joe from the third book in Patricia Josephine's Path of Angels series. The three of us hope you enjoy it!
Hi,
Joe! What is Jophiel, Path of Angels about?
Joe: I
am SO glad you asked. *opens mouth, but freezes when Gabriel folds his arms and
glares. Snaps mouth shut.*
Here’s
the blurb:
They must fight to stay on the path.
Joe embraces his duty without fear or hesitation, always
ready for the next battle. But the path has never been easy. With Michael’s
return, they uncover a truth more dangerous than they ever imagined. Their
enemy plans to unleash the devil himself, Lucifer. Help comes in the form of an
unlikely alley: a member of the fallen.
Mariangela is trying to make amends by protecting the
child she is carrying. After blindly following Lucifer in the rebellion, her
misguided allegiance came with a price: banishment from heaven. Now, as she
strives for forgiveness in the human world, she must fight to prevent Uriel, a
fallen archangel, from using her child to free evil from Hell.
The path becomes a battleground, one which may already be
lost.
Title: Jophiel
Author: Patricia Josephine
Series: Path of Angels (#3)
Length: 56 pages

1. What is your job?
Joe: *Plants hands on hips* I fight evil that lurks in
the dark! Or, ya know, *shrugs* Fallen angels.
2. That must be thrilling and dangerous. What
do you do for fun?
Joe: Annoy Gabriel. Honestly, we don’t have much down
time, so hobbies have fallen by the wayside.
3. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Joe: Hmm, good question. I’m
a pretty easy going guy. Not a lot gets to me. Now, Gabe on the other hand…
*evil grin*
4. Gabriel sounds like he needs a few shots of
something strong. *winks* How did you meet Mariangela?
Joe: Some punks were messing
with her. Who picks on a pregnant lady? Really, I should have kicked their
asses.
5. You should have! What was your first
impression of her? (Other than her being pregnant.)
Joe: That she is an angel. I
mean, she really is, but at the time I didn’t know, so… *shrugs*
6. What kind of trouble do the two of you get
into?
Joe: I take offense to that
question. Mary and I are angels. A.N.G.L.E.S. Do you not see my halo? *circles
finger over head*
7. Haha! I guess we’ll skip that one. What
moment of Jophiel, Path of Angels was
your favorite?
Joe: That’s kind of tough to
answer because I don’t want to give away any spoilers. Hmmm. There is a great
bonding moment between me and another character. *wipes eye* It’s just
heartwarming.
8. Is there anything you did in Jophiel, Path of Angels that you would
change if you could?
Joe: Given my ability is
being able to see events from the past, I’ve learned to not worry about what’s
happened. You can’t change it, so why worry?

About the Author:
Patricia Josephine never set out to become a
writer. In fact, she never considered it an option during high school and
college. She was all about art. On a whim, she wrote down a story bouncing in
her head. That was the start of it and she hasn't regretted a moment. She
writes young adult under the name Patricia Lynne.
Patricia lives with her husband in Michigan, hopes one day to
have what will resemble a small petting zoo, has a fondness for dying her hair
the colors of the rainbow, and an obsession with Doctor Who.

He might be a little less of an angel than he thinks!
Hmm...maybe. ;)
"did you not see my halo" hahah love it :)
Joe is a real character.
Cute interview with Joe, makes you wonder if he really is a good angel :)
betty
Such a fun interview. Loved it. Congrats, Patricia!

Most enjpyable Chrys, thanks for the write.
Yvonne.
What a fun interview!
Not sure if I'd want to meet him in a dark alley. Well, maybe if someone was after me...
He is a good angel, but he has his moments. :P
Thanks for stopping by, MJ!
He is pretty awesome.
And boy do these angels sin. ;)
These are really good short stories. I was hooked from the first one.
Thanks for reading. :)
I'm glad you think so, Anne! :)
He's the best when an innocent woman needs saving.
Great interview, Chrys! And Grats, Patricia! I've been seeing you everywhere today.
Congratulations on your release, Patricia! It's nice to see an angel character who isn't some stereotype. Real angels are a lot more complex than just cherubs sitting on clouds or forces of destruction.
I'm seeing this book everywhere today! Fabulous interview! Congratulations to Patricia on her release!
Congratulations, Patricia! I love the story concept :)
Thanks for visiting, Loni!
Angels are fun characters to write about because they are so complex.
I'm glad Patricia is everywhere. YAY!!
Thanks for stopping by, Liz!
I like the sound of this book! Angels/demons always have a soft spot for me just because I like the diversity they can be written as.
Angels are my favorite supernatural beings to write and read about. I am never disappointed.
Congratulations on your books, Patricia. I love stories about angels.
Great interview, ladies.
Absolutely hilarious interview! Jophiel makes me laugh. :) Congrats to Patricia! Can't wait to read the new book.
Fun interview and this looks like an intense book. Lucifer in stories makes me shudder, but I'll read and watch those stories anyway.
I did not see the halo either. LOL

Wow, that cover grabbed my attention. Angel stories are always entertaining in a good way. Chuckled at the interview too. Great fun, Patricia and Chrys.
Denise :-)
So sassy! This sounds like the kind of angel that would come visit me in the middle of the night. Bad ass. Fun interview and interesting series, Patricia!
I'm starting to feel a little as if I'm stalking Patricia, because she's everywhere I visit! :p
This is the second time I'm stumbling upon this book today. Congratulations to the author.
Thanks for visiting, Beverly!
Jophiel is a real character, but he can be serious too. He just doesn't know it. :)
Well, *spoiler* Lucifer hasn't made an appearance...yet. ;)
It's a little hard to see at time. :P
Angel stories are so much fun. And intense too. I love them!
Haha! He is a bad ass. ;)
Hmm...maybe you are. ;P
Then it was be destined for you to check it out. ;)
I thought I'd already commented on this, but it must have been another blog! I don't trust my memory anymore. Congratulations to Patricia!
Patricia had been everywhere the past couple of days, so it was probably another blog. :)
Congrats to Patricia. Joe sounds like a fun angel to be around and I love that he likes to kick ass
Congrats, Patricia. This sounds like a fun read.
Hey, Chrys.
This sounds interesting. Patricia should meet another Michigan author who writes about angels, both fallen and slackers, Rob Krouse. Here is a review of his first book: http://sagecoveredhills.blogspot.com/2009/10/mercury-falls-book-review.html
I never planned to be a writer either. Actually I was 40 before I decided what I want to do when I grow up.
I think the best part is that he likes to kick ass. ;)
Hey, Sandra!
Thanks for the link, Sage!
I think that's awesome, though. :D
He is something else for sure, Alex.
If he wasn't an archangel, I'd say there were horns holding up that halo.
He would tell you that he is the best angel. Perfect and full of goodness. Then Gabe would punch him for being full of it. ;)
Thanks, MJ!
Thanks Sarah. He was my favorite to write after Zephyr.
Joe does that well.
Thanks Susan. =D
Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks, Anne. Joe had fun too. Maybe a little too much.
Aww, come on, Liz. Joe said he'd be your angel in shining armor whenever you need him.
I was all over the place having fun. =D
Yeah, I like to take things and turn them on their heads. Try to do something different and fun.
Thanks, Kimberly!
Thanks, Liz. It was a fun story to write.
Exactly. I already have another story idea that twists demons in a new way.
Thank you, Beverly.
That's his goal, Christine. And annoying Gabe. It's like his hobbies. LOL
Thanks, Medeia. Yeah, you don't want to mess with Lucifer, but there's another baddie that the boys have to watch out for. Lucifer is trapped right now, so he can't do much to my boys.
Joe insists it is there. I doubtful too.
Thanks Denise. I love the covers to the series too. They are gorgeous.
Yes, Joe likes to be a joker, but he has a whole range from sensitive to bad ass.
Ha! You aren't the only person I've seen commenting on other blogs I've visited. Maybe I'm the one stalking you and this is my genius way of doing it. Cast suspicion on you. MUAHAHAHAHA
It's a sign, Joe says. He also says you can trust him on that. ;)
It might have been, but I'm the same. It's like, "Did I reply to comments here? Let's see..."
He's good to have at parties.
Thank you, Sandra.
MICHIGAN AUTHORS FTW!
Sometimes I wonder if I've grown up yet. LOL That's cool though. Never too old to write a book.
